I met Armed Mind founder Mike Rudin when we were both working with Rundown.com. When I struck out on my own in 2013, he reached out and asked if I’d be interested in copywriting. We’ve been working together ever since. Our partnership has spanned dozens of copywriting, social media, and branding projects and continues to be productive and inspiring. Thanks to Armed Mind, I’ve had the pleasure of working with the following brands.
Over the past three years, I’ve written a series of internal video scripts for Capital Grouped aimed at informing and energizing associates. Projects ranged from holiday wishes to keeping associates up-to-date with new technology. I’ve really enjoyed working on these scripts, as I love the added challenge of creating visual concepts to make dialogue and voiceover more impactful.
Ice Age: Collision Course was due out on DVD and Blu-Ray, and Fox wanted to reengage older fans while also activating a new audience. We accomplished this by building Ice Age Mission Control, an educational online game blending clips from the film with intergalactic factoids. I researched and wrote all copy, and provided input on design and functionality. The result: an out-of-this-world experience that melded the movie’s characteristic slapstick humor with educational info to immerse and entertain fans.
I helped create websites announcing multiple Intel product launches. As a Bay Area resident, I’m surrounded by tech. It was so much fun to immerse myself in that world as I wrote web copy, created CTA’s, and helped build a functional and engaging event website.
